Profile

David Cook founded MCF Builders soon after graduating from Oberlin College with a degree in Environmental Studies. David began building as a carpenter for a small green construction company in Chatham county. He formed MCF as a small framing company in 1994, and moved into whole house construction in 1997.
Sarah Cornette is David's wife and has had a hand in the business from the start. Together, they bring ten years of experience designing and living in green homes. Sarah has a master's degree in art therapy, and often helps homeowners make design and color choices.
Diego Herrera is the field superintendant for MCF Builders. He has been with the company for five years and is experienced in every phase of construction, especially cabinetry, trim, and tile.
